The beach of Atalaia is part of the Marine National Park and is formed by reefs that form pools of shallow depth considered marine nursery.

In front of the beach of Atalaia has the Islet called Morro do Frade which gives it an image of great beauty.

Atalaia Beach can only be visited accompanied by a guide and the number of visitors at a time is limited, only being able to stay in the water for half an hour.

You can not use any type of cream, protector or tanner, otherwise you will not be allowed to enter the swimming pools.

Do not forget to take a diving mask to watch the fish and the coral that abound in the pools.

Access is difficult as it is done on foot by trail with the shorter one being about 1,500 meters with steep climbs.

Must carry water.

It is not accessible to people with motor disabilities or with difficulty walking.
