It is an area of outstanding beauty, dominated by the Cairngorm range, a Mecca for mountaineers & hill walkers year round. The Auld Alliance sits in about an acre of its own grounds, situated of the main Kingussie High street, giving ample peace and quiet to relax and enjoy the spectacular views, yet only a few minutes away from the local shops and activities.The Auld Alliance offers a choice of tastefully decorated rooms and a studio apartment all restored and furnished in a style befitting the period of the house apart from a newly redesigned downstairs room which is more contemporary.The restaurant is situated on the ground floor. a heart warming log fire and deep leather Chesterfield chairs await in the adjoining lounge where the most discerning pallets can enjoy a wide selection of Malts and Cognacs.
