Guests at Onsen Gaga can relax in a public hot spring bath or unwind in a hot spring for private use (all gensen kakenagashi type). A free transfer is available from Miyagi Zao Royal Hotel, a 20-minute drive away.
Rooms boast a heated tatami (woven-straw) floor, on which traditional futon bedding is spread to sleep in. Amenities include an LCD TV, a small fridge and a safe, while yukata robes, tabi socks and toiletries are provided. A toilet is attached, however bathing facilities are shared.
Japanese-style hot spring hotel Gaga is a 30-minute drive from the Okama Crater, and a 40-minute drive from both Shiraishi-jo Castle and the Miyagi Zao Eboshi Ski Resort.
The Japanese-style dinner at Gaga Onsen features Hitomebore rice, handmade tofu and local sake wine rice. For breakfast, guests can choose between a Japanese or a Western meal.
