The quiet ryokan features authentic Japanese architecture, spacious rooms with a Japanese interior and free WiFi, while facilities include a garden and free-use bicycles. Free parking is on site.

Rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) floor, a low table with seating cushions and either Western beds or Japanese futon bedding. All rooms offer garden and mountain views, and come with a private bathroom. They’re fitted with a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator and a safe.
Kazeya is a 10-minute drive from the Shin-Hodaka Ropeway Station, and a 1-hour drive from Takayama Station. The property is a 2-minute walk from bus stop Shin-Hodaka Onsenguchi.
A one-dish dinner is available upon request, which will be complemented by several side dishes. Although the main dish is selected by the chef, guests can order hida-beef as their main at an extra cost. Guests can also choose to reserve a hida-beef full course meal at a charge.
