The Tower of the Winds is an octagonal tower-shaped building made of marble, located in the Roman Agora of Athens. It is a horologist or clock. Its builder was Andronicus of Cirro from the first century BC. C. (50 BC).
The Tower of Winds had the triple clepsydra function, which served to mark the time in the Agora; the vanity now missing, which consisted of a brass newt; and eight sundials that were probably built later.
