The Avis Municipal Museum - Ethnography and Archeology is housed in the chapter room of the former Convent of São Bento de Avis since the late 1980s.

Among its collection are pieces collected by the Municipal employees and by the local Artisan, António Bonito, as well as pieces donated by the population. This collection consists of three nuclei: archeology, crafts and ethnography.
